Who is Geoff Marx?

Geoff Marx - Intuitive Astrological Counsellor and Energy Therapist

After years of practice as a pharmacist and alternative medicine specialist, Geoff’s work focuses on his astrological counselling practice, his facilitation as an energy therapist and his teaching at Sydney Astrology School.

Geoff’s interest in energy work started at school when studying the energetic reactions of subatomic particles happening in living organisms. Realising that no-one really understood them seemed remarkable. Also having an interest in health and the community, led Geoff to study Pharmacy at the University of Sydney.  

Geoff became disillusioned with the limited choices pharmacy medicines had for helping people with their health concerns and started to investigate alternative medicines. Geoff’s philosophy was to empower people with the knowledge they needed to make informed decisions on which type of medicine was best suited for their needs.

Geoff opened his first Pharmacy in Oxford St, Paddington in 1991, and as a qualified naturopath and pharmacist quickly began attracting clients who wanted to address their health concerns from what both traditional and western medicine had to offer. Geoff’s interest in alternative healing modalities grew, and as he studied, Geoff became increasingly aware of the body-mind connection associated with healing.

Geoff still felt however, that there was something missing in his practice and after studying Astrology out of interest with Parampara in Sydney, Geoff not only found his passion but also what he considered to be missing for him in his practice, that being the underlying belief system (spiritual) of the individual.

Geoff found that the energetic arrangement of the planets in the birth chart profoundly impacted the individual’s belief system and was a core component of the body-mind complex in this life time.

Since then, Geoff’s participation in spiritual work and energy exchange has also grown, and he uses these intuitive skills to facilitate deeper levels of awareness and healing in his practice. Geoff was fortunate to participate in the transformative “Spirit of Light” training  facilitated by Ghata Iris Engels in Byron Bay, and over the last few years, has been assisting her with this work. Geoff has also been involved with the “Grail” through the “Shematrix” network.

It has been a long journey from the initial interest in the microcosm of electrons spinning around an atom to the macrocosm of the planets spinning around the sun.  Both systems containing energetic information yet to be fully understood or explained, and yet both seem to be inexplicably linked. “As above so below”
